PhD in Nutrition & Endocrinology ( Laval Univ. Quebec, Canada, 1985). Msc in Nutrition & Alimentation ( Dijon Univ., France, 1992). Professor of Nutrition and Physiology at Chouaib Doukkali University (CDU), since 1996).

Research director. Head of Laboratory of Physiology Applied to Nutrition and Feeding.

Head of Training and Research Unit on Food Science (1997-present) (graduate student program).

Supervision of graduate students in various programs Biology, Nutrition, Physiology/Endocrinology at (CDU).

Expert Evaluator for European Union Consultant in nutrition. Expert Evaluator of Training and Research programmes.

Principal investigator of many projects (surveys on nutritional disorders: over nutrition and micronutrients deficiencies) funded nationally and internationally.

Director of 5 doctoral thesis. Author of 33 scientific papers, and 66 communications related to Nutrition, micronutrient deficiency, metabolic disorders and food composition.

Participation to the Sixth International Graduate course on the Production and use of Food Composition Data in Nutrition. October 2003. Graduate School VLAG, Division of Human Nutrition, Wageningen, The Netherlands.

Main currently research subjects:
Epidemiology, Nutrition, Mediterranean Diet, micronutrient deficiencies, Obesity and Food composition.

Referee of the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
