Constitution

Introduction
The final draft of the Constitution includes ALL comments made by delegates at the inaugural meeting of the Society during the ITANA 2002 Congress, Nairobi, Kenya. Those present at the Congress will recall that tentative agreement was not reached on some issues. The consensus agreement was then approved by all present at the inaugural meeting, that the Constitution appears on the new website as a "Final Draft" so that ALL delegates and Society members are allowed the opportunity to comment further on any issues they feel strongly about.

All delegates and Society members are hereby invited to send their comments to Dr Delana Adelekan (English; dadel_318@yahoo.com) or Ms Fatimata Ouattara (French; timaouatt@hotmail.com) for further attention and inclusion in the Constitution, as appropriate, before the end of February 2004. The long deadline is intended to afford ALL delegates and Society members the opportunity to comment and raise their concerns, if any.
